TOPIC | Update Swiftbrood Boon Description
1 2
The [item=Swiftbrood Boon] description does not state that it cannot be used on a dragon going through its first cooldown (from hatchling to adult). I'm requesting the description be updated with this information so that unsuspecting players don't accidentally purchase one thinking they can use this instead of a boon of fertility. Some Back Story I bought the item intending to reduce the cooldown of a dragon I had purchased and gened because they'd be ready on the 10th of Feb and I needed their nest to hatch on the 14th. I went with the Swiftbrood Boon instead of the Fertility Boon because the cooldown was only 20 days from when I'd bought her. Cue problem. Nowhere on the Boon itself does it state that dragons must complete their first cycle before the boon can be used. I only found this out when I attempted to use it AFTER I bought it. Upon checking the database I found that in the COMMENT SECTION there was a notice. However, I hadn't thought to check there first because I figured the item description would list exactly what the boons uses would be. The Database listing itself also does not say anything about the inability to use it on a dragon that has newly become an adult, other than in the comments. I'm a little upset I need to buy a 350g boon of fertility after already spending 150g on a boon that doesn't work, but at the same time at least now I can make others aware. Is this my fault? Yes. I should have done my research on the item I was buying. Should the description be updated? Yes. It's deceiving. Making players search for information that affects an item's use but isn't readily available on the item itself isn't necessarily fair to the players. The notification was in the comments section added by another player, not on the item itself. Not everyone is going to see that. Edit: Fixed my images because they broke.

Edit: Fixed my images because they broke.

support. i had no idea this was a stipulation and as you say, it's clearly not stated anywhere. since we're talking gems here (which people, yknow, buy) it should be clarified to prevent unwitting purchases.

Support.

I'm sorry to say this but your mistake just saved me from doing the same, this type of limitations should always be noted in the tooltip from the start. That's exactly what the tooltips are for imo, and if they aren't then what are they for?

I'm +10H ahead of FR time!
Replies may be slow, so sorry ;w;
Support, I didn't buy one but I had no idea that they had this on top of the other limitation.

It was mentioned ONCE, when the item was originally released, but yeah, it needs to be added to the describtion

Support! That's a really unpleasant surprise and shouldn't have happened.

Is this my fault?
Yes. I should have done my research on the item I was buying.
Having to do research before purchasing the item implies that there is somewhere this information is available. This wasn't true until the comment on the Game database was added--and those aren't always accurate and right now there's no way to tell.

There's no reason the information shouldn't be available on the item from the staff.

Support! I didn't know this until you pointed it out just now and that's a problem considering how expensive the item is.

I'm not sure how old the release post is for this item or how far down in the news it would be. I know I'm an old player, but it's difficult to remember things from 5, even 6 years ago.
