Maybe for bane scales runes could causing all of their horns to glow and not just the ones on their head. Bee would look pretty cool too, it's wings are actually big enough to appreciate it.

I love the idea of runes for the horns on Banes, but I'm not so sure about bee. I think it would overwhelm the banes. You sadi yourself their wings are large enough, but I fear it might be too large.

I wanted peacock for banes but I'd go bee and wasp for banes maybe you want a banescale with comically large looking wings. seriously genes are needed to make things appear bigger and smaller respectively...
