I know that it’s currently a modern gene, but what if certain genes such as tune and constellation could be for the ancient breeds too? Just a thought/suggestion. It’s been on my mind for a bit.

Ancient breeds were never meant to wear apparel because apparel is what causes probably 95% of the delay in bringing out new modern breeds. For genes, they have a program where it can automatically fill in colors, so all they have to do is draw the gene to fit the dragon. Still takes time, but much less than apparel.
That said, I would love to have constellation and Starmap for ancients, and would love it if they would revamp their apparel system to allow for 'environmental' items and 'accessories' with accessories only being for modern dragons ,and environmental items being available for all dragons, including hatchlings and ancients.
Environmental items would be things like flower falls and such which theoretically would only need one image per item instead of one image per dragon (ie a flower fall doesn't need to change depending on the pose it is on. it should remain the same)
