the speed at which you gain XP from baldwin makes me feel like i'll die before i ever level up completely. even grinding with the free time i have takes forever cause i dont have the time to collect and restart brewing when the timer runs out, so i feel like i waste a lot of time and get nowhere at all besides filling my hoard with reagents i cant use yet. i've tried to get into brewing but i just cant because levelling up to get recipes is just something i feel i'm unable to do as a casual FR player. at least with coli grinding to get a team of level 25s you get more XP faster, plus bonus XP for battle chains. if the amount of XP you got for each reagent or recipe brewed was raised, brew times were maybe shortened a little, and possibly making it so specific items give specific colors of reagents (like blue slime from seafood or from blue food items), i think brewing would just suck less. theres an old tag from i think 2015 throwing the idea of a reagent hoard category in, and while i think that would be cool, it wouldnt be the biggest and best overall change that brewing could have

Yeah I'd support, I can't always brew stuff and its annoying when I'm unable to and spend three hours brewing a skin and still jot much exp, etc.

Go to Items For Sale and look for threads where people are hiring brewers. They'll send you the stuff, you brew the thing and send it back. They get the item they want, you get xp without having to use your own mats.

I honestly don't think the experience gain is that tedious, I just spam frogs/snakes and familliars when I have nothing else to make. This will be even easier with the new recipes to color change brewing materials.
While I don't think the current levelling system is awful, it does feel like a grind to get to higher levels. This is pretty much the same as coli where if you put in the work, you get the rewards.
Personally I don't see it to be necessary to rework the system as it is. The amount of EXP you earn from melting down items is small, but as you get higher up in level the recipes themselves start to reward you with more.
What I would support however is an item or function that temporarily boosts EXP gain. Maybe each time the user gains a level the EXP gain goes up by some percentage (15%, for example) for a couple hours?

No support. It's not necessary. Melting items down has a low xp payout, but the recipes provide plenty.
And there's several guides on maximizing xp gain per level/recipe to make it even quicker.
Why should you get the benefits of leveling up, if you can't be bothered to put in any of the effort everybody else has?
Besides, Baldwin isn't required, if you don't like that mechanic, you don't have to use it.

I honestly think it’s fine as it is. I took a long hiatus (like over a year) after not having leveled much and was very far behind, but it only took about 2 months of dedicating my time to high experience brews to reach the cap. I think it’s fine I’d like gathering, brewing is something that takes effort to get to the highest levels

Seems fine to me? I've been here a little less than a year and I'm level 19, and I haven't even been putting in effort to gain exp until a few months ago. Once you can afford prismatic tokens those bring in huge amounts of exp for little effort once you've gotten the right materials. Simply transmuting does virtually nothing to level you up, but even the 900 exp from kelpie familiars is really efficient for the cost to brew them.
Maybe it gets harder in the higher levels, but so far I've reached 19 simply by brewing the things I need, and some throwaway stuff like the kelpies to rack in exp.

I also think it's fine. I maxed out my Baldwin by brewing and selling genes, that made me LOTS of money when I was just starting out.

Honestly I think it’s fine the way it is. If anything I want more levels or something like extra cauldrons to level so I don’t feel like I’m wasting experience when I’m maxed.
I work full time (9-10 hr days, alternating 4 or 5 days a week with an hour and a half travel each day) and I’m maxed Baldwin. When I’m maxed I melt down things unless I need something or they release something new I want so when new levels are released I can brew higher experience things
