Just a thought, but it would be fun to have a choice of treasure or gems for Crim trades...
Not for the 500t trades....but for familiar or apparel or battle items...if Crim is offering 3000t, there could be second button to choose a trade for 2G instead. The button could always be there, but would only be active on the higher value trades. The ratio could be set at 1500t:1G (for example) and would not have to fluctuate like the AH exchange rate.
This would be another way to collect gems, but still keep their value as the premium monetary device.

This would set an exchange rate for treasure to gems and would significantly impact the economy, which is currently commanded by supply and demand. There's already so many ways to get free gems; I don't think this is really necessary.

Pretty much this. Player driven treasure to gem ratio is best for the site’s economy
FR is also very generous with gems compared to many pet sites and their premium currency so I don’t see the need
