What it says. In order to get a more accurate population of flights. I think they should either split the population display into Active/banned
or simply take any account that is permanently banned out of the number. just for the sake of having more correct counts.

I... don't think we have many perma-banned accounts? Most are simply inactive. I'd love to see active/inactive count, though (especially seeing that banned would count as inactive in that case)!

I think it's a fair suggestion! I don't know if FR keeps track of banned accounts, but it would be a nice QoL addition!

Is it confirmed that Flight populations show everyone and not just current active players? If it's everyone, it should switch to active population. They already track it for DOM reasons so displaying that number shouldn't be a problem.

I think Dom would benefit more from counting players that were logged on within that specific time frame for Dom, or even only counting people that logged in within the past month or two. I can't imagine there are that many banned accounts on FR, but I could be wrong.

The system can already recognise inactive accounts, as it gives your dergs a free feed to 100% if you don't log in for more than 45 days. I don't know if they actually have a total recorded, but I guess they could do a count during the monthly maintenance window without adding to the regular server load?
