Here's the problem: When buying familiars in the marketplace, it won't say you have a familiar if it's in your vault and not your hoard.
This may seem inconsequential, but as someone who has a lot of awakened familiars, I like to vault them so I don't accidentally put them on dragons, and the end result is just... annoying. I don't particularly want to buy a familiar I already have, and I don't want to check all seven vault pages for duplicates every time I go shopping.
I get it's a small and petty complaint, but - surely this wouldn't be a big fix? I can at least understand why the auction house doesn't have it - that would be a bigger fix coding-wise (useful as it'd be). But the marketplace can already check your hoard and dragons for familiars you already have, so... why not the vault, too?
Is there some dev explanation for this, or did they just forget to implement it when they first introduced the vault? I'm honestly kind of surprised this wasn't fixed when they overhauled the beastiary some time ago.
Edit: as a bigger, cooler suggestion: why can't we search familiars in the auction house with filter options such as colour (according to their encyclopedia entries) or just whether or not we have them? I know I'd definitely appreciate the latter!
