Suggestions

[s]There is no Eye Type suggestion thread so I hope it isn't trouble making a new one-[/s] Okay I've searched a bit and I don't think something like this has ever been suggested before so I did a [s]trashy[/s] quick mock up for a Cog Eye Type for all your engineer/robot/steampunk dragon needs. [img]https://i.imgur.com/lQWYfQ8.png[/img] I know it won't show up much on some dragons/poses but Goat and Swirl also don't show and we still love them It's very unnatural looking and quite creepy, could be something from Baldwin/Swipp. [size=1]...and [url=https://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=57278082]Bisque[/url] needs them. [/size]

I think it would be really good for lore dragons!

Might need some work for subspecies owners, but it wouldn't be too hard!

edit: I would like to see more previews, but obviously not necessary. Spiral babies do have the biggest eyes in the game, and I'd like to make sure it at least works for the other babies.

It’s a cool idea but I know you wouldn’t be able to see them on most adults, and I’d prefer we get more visible eye types.

Maybe putting a metal rim or gears around the eye would be easier to see?

This looks really nice! I think it could drop from the coliseum, especially the golem workshop.

I like the idea, but this would be invisible on pretty much everything but spirals...

when i saw the title i thought the eyes were literally going to be replaced with actual giant 3d metal gears in flight color themed metals

it's unnatural though, which is why i think it's unlikely, perhaps maybe if they weren't born with it, and it can be added on like a cyborg

Yes, as I mentioned on the first post, I am aware that this won't be visible on most adults. But many of the types we already have aren't either, and I really don't think every new eye type we get from now on will be fully visible. Many of the breeds have very small eyes (apart from the obvious Primal, Glowing and Multigaze, it's quite hard to see any variations on Skydancers). Still, it still serves lore and aesthetic purposes.
I decided to post this here because the cog pupils is one design choice I made for one of my dragons, and I thought other people would be interested - mainly steampunk fans, lightning flight aesthetic clans and permababy collectors.

And yes, I envisioned this as an unnatural eye type, applicable via vial. This vial could be acquired by any means the staff finds fitting. I thought about Coliseum at first, and also Baldwin, but since we already have Swirl and Dark Sclera would be nice to have it come from other means, like Swipp or Gathering or even the Treasure Marketplace. Anything works.

I don't know when I'll have some time to make other previews, but what I do have is this one artwork of a gijinka of my dragon Bisque, who inspired this suggestion. The style is obviously different but it shows a bit how it works on a smaller size.
