Say you're in the scrying workshop, and you want to randomize adult dragons. You want them to be mature, but other than that, everything else is fine. Only... when you refresh the page to get another dragon, it's a hatchling. You refresh again. Hatchling. And again, and again, and so on! I mean, you of course get adults but... seriously? Who wants to go through this every time they enter Predict Morphology? Certainly not me, that's for sure. It's not exactly random if you switch it from "hatchling" to "dragon", and it's also very annoying. Additionally, it is time-consuming to manually shuffle everything except age, so I think there should be a little lock symbol after the die next to the scry's genes or colors or what-have-you, which would "lock" that gene, allowing you to randomize everything except that particular one.
I might be the only one to want this, but at least give it some thought.

I'd be interested in knowing how many other people have this problem.

I literally just refreshed the scrying shop 10 times and got exactly half adult, half hatchling random scries - either you encountered a bug or randomness just didn't particularly like you in particular that minute.

It's not just age that this could be useful for. Got a G1 you have no idea about scrying? Lock the colours and gender, randomize everything else. I love white poison + butterfly on male tundras, so lock: breed, gender, primary colour/gene secondairy gene and randomize the rest

SilverLately that is what I meant... a lock for every gene/color/what-have-you
Maybe my example wasn't clear enough.
@
RedWillia I should fix that. I meant I do get adults, but more 60-70% of the time they're babies. It's not a bug. And it has nothing to do with the time this happened. 3/4 times I visit the scrying workshop, this is the case.

I support,
at the moment theres a way to lock what you want on dragons alternatively but you have to mess with the Scrying link (Not the image link)
https://www1.flightrising.com/scrying/predict?breed=6&gender=1& age=1 &bodygene=0&body=114&winggene=20&wings=48&tertgene=14&tert=173&element=4&eyetype=2
heres the staff guide that was for it around the same time the scrying workshop got an update: but basically delete the attributes that you want randomized like &tertgene=14& and just refresh
linklonk to randomizing/scrying specific things

Kapow well, that's certainly useful information, but I think it'd be... irritating. I am not the kind of person who will sit around and mess with urls
even if I enjoy exploring BBCodes

its definitely kind of tedious to collect the url and then change it, especially if you delete the wrong parts or too many characters,
I hope it helps in your scrying ventures though until we hopefully get a built in feature.
