I train a lot of fodder and this annoys the bajeebers out of me. I have piles and piles of gen1s and leveled fodder in my Hibernal Den that show up on the Coliseum team setup tab-- and it just makes it harder to get to my fodder that I'd like to train.
I have a specific lair tab for fodder where they all go as soon as I receive them, but unfortunately this tab is also at the very end of my lair-- and so it gets squished in-between my permanent/breeding project/hosted dragons and my hibernating dragons. So every time I want to rotate them out, I have to search for them among the 200-something dragons that make up my lair and hibernal den.
So it'd be really nice to have "Eligible Only" be hardcoded as the starting default option... or at least just not have hibernating dragons show up in the selection at all?
There's just not really any point for them to be visible in the selection menu when we can check their stones and stats from their profile pages, and it's not as though we can mess with stones/stats unless they're in your team (and therefore NOT hibernating).
That, and as mentioned below, it'd reduce server load just a little bit to have the coliseum not pull hibernating dragon information every time you load up the page in question. The Hibernal Den can get pretty big, so if it's completely loaded up with fodder along with your Lair being large and populated, that's a lot of dragons.

marine I’m not seeing it? If you sort by “eligible only” (which, I believe, is the default filter) it automatically filters out any dragon that cannot participate.

It was likely so people could see the stones on their hibden dragons pre-profile update. Otherwise, they’d have to take them out, check the stones, and wait the 35 days to put them back.

In this case, they can take them out now that you can easily see them in the dragon profile. That'll reduce some server strain as well for coli-loading. :)

The whole thing is confusing to me, because wasn't coliseum loadout one of the reasons we got for the Hden and why we couldn't have larger lairs? because the staff was afraid of what might happen if people had 200+ dragons loading. Yet, it sounds like they are loading those dragons anyway?

It was. Which is why I don't understand why that was even given as a reason. It was obviously not an issue (not a dire one, anyways).

Also, I feel even if you have the 'eligible only' selected, the system still loads your whole lair/den and just show the ones you want on the screen, with everyone else loaded at the background still. That was quite obvious when den first introduced and I moved half of my lair into den and the load time still took a min. And it's getting steadily worse now that I have 500 instead of 200.... just, leave them out entirely please?
