I get that camping is a capthalogue or however it's spelt for the sake of stopping bots so it's here to stay. That said I do think the algorithm that dictates when it pops up needs to be tweaked so it doesn't make the coli so ridiculous to play.
I decided to note the frequency of it popping up as I was farming. It popped up 1/every minute and that's ridiculous. I'm guessing right now it's coded to appear after 7+ battles but really it should be coded to pop up after every 10 or so minutes so the site can still bot check without wrecking one of the main methods of gaining currency.

It's probably triggered by heuristics as well and seeks patterns. If you behave too constantly and repetitive you will encounter it more often.

In pinging me I assume consent to be pinged back. This is because I disabled signature display (too many intrusive banners)

I agree. I’ve gotten two captchas basically right after the after (one battle in between)
“Change it up” is a ridiculous attempt at a solution because it isn’t my job to purposefully be less efficient. The captchas shouldn’t be so hard to complete in the first place and I’m lucky to have good color differentiation, and they shouldn’t show up more than once every ten battles. It’s absurd how much they disrupt basic coli grinding.

The way the current system is changing it up is really insufficient and not the job of the user base. My coli team is built to scratch then elim, it's the stones they have so it's what I'm going to do regardless.
My color comprehension isn't great as my eyesight in gen is getting worse per year so I'm basically guessing on most of the captchas, especially the ones with ridiculously colorful backgrounds. It basically just looks like a blob of color to me

Support! Camping is honestly so annoying, and Far too frequent. I wouldn't be surprised if it's based on repetitive playing, but in a game were it's really only efficient to run a build based around repetitively using execute it Really shouldn't be

I'm tempted to email them directly as I don't think they pay attention to this forum. This suggestion is far from unique but it never seems to go anywhere.

It really is. Also, they never addressed how badly it affects people with visual impairments. My brother is colourblind and every since that update he's hardly been able to use the coliseum because of this - it's literally gatekeeping people with disabilities from using a core feature of the site.

Agreed. Captchas are WAY too frequent on top of all the visual issues they present.

Pings are disabled.
If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?
Support for this! There was another forum post discussing the accessibility of Coli from someone who could not perform repetitive movements without pain.
Any work being done on the coli should be HALTED until simple qol improvements for abled folks are made, and a system for disabled folks is implemented.

Support. It should be based on time, not amount of battles.
Because I mean, 7 battles? The amount of time it takes to do that many varies widely on venue. Meaning this is really annoying in places like the Woodland Path.
