It's... pretty clear that we need a sales forum for onsite trades and sales for offsite trades, no? So many other sites have a section for offsite trading and I really do wonder why FR doesn't.

I'm sure it'll lessen in a few weeks but right now the item sales topic is CLOGGED with offsite trading. You want to trade onsite? TOO BAD. This forum belongs to DV now.

I...wouldn't hate this. I don't play any other petsites, and it's pretty frustrating to consistently see what I'm looking for...but only if I have chickensmoothie things or something.

...i don't even know what a chickensmoothie is, but I inherently dislike it now.

I agree, I'm getting sick of seeing all this Dappervolk stuff flooding the sales forums when I don't care about Dappervolk and it's clogging up the forum and I can't find FR stuff I'm looking for. Not to mention it's making it harder for people to sell/seek FR stuff because it's being buried constantly.

Even after the DV stuff dies down (hopefully) I'd still like to see a division since some people are only looking for FR for FR and it's incredibly frustrating to see stuff you want only to click and see the user is only selling it for offsite stuff.

This would be great, huge support! It would be useful both for people who are interested in offsite trading and for people who aren't! I do some offsite trading and it would be great to have a forum dedicated to that, and it would also make FR trades easier to find by themselves! :)

Support! It was a pain trying to find gem/treasure trading threads yesterday when the forum was swimming in dappervolk threads. This would be good for both people who don't do offsite trading and want to avoid it, and those who want to find offsite trading threads for specific games.
At this time, cross-site trades on Flight Rising will remain unsupported but allowed, so long as the other game allows it and the game is of the same genre.
Based on this I don't think FR ever will (or should) have a specific area for cross-site trades. It would send the message that these are supported transactions, and they are not.

"So long as the other game allows it, we allow it." The only difference here is, they've added FR's own rules that apply everywhere anyways. The "If you trade a dragon away, we won't help." That's what the first part of that sentence means. "If an offsite trade goes bad, we won't help." So I'm not sure where the problem is and why putting an offsite trade section would be a big deal.

support!

i am also tired of seeing all the "trading for DV" threads that are just flooding the first few pages of the sales forum.
To me there is a difference between allowing and supporting something. We don't even have separate forums for buying FR items vs selling them. Just because DV is super popular right now it doesn't mean we need a special area for trading offsite items.

Support. Them items for sale forum has been borderline unusable to me for the past week. And like yeah I'm sure it'll die down eventually it'd be nice to have the off-site stuff separated into its own forum, both for the ease of people looking for it and those if us who are totally uninterested in filtering through it.
