We definitely need this. Items for sale is full of users selling 3 digit flying pumpkin pets for FR currency or (even worse) trading rare FR items for potatoes [emoji=guardian sad size=2] It's totally gridlocked with out-of-game sales and trades. I get that people want to trade cross-game, but it shouldn't kill the ingame thread. Items for Sale should be for Flight Rising items and currency exclusively

The overall Item Sales discussion section is in the Flight Rising part of the forums and should stay FR oriented. Other trades/sales that have only 50% or less to do with FR shouldn’t infiltrate the Item Sales to the point that people actively avoid that part of the community (I am one of these people).

As much as I love Dappervolk I highly support this. In general I think FR could really benefit from subforums including one for trades specifically related to off site trades.

The DV trade spam will calm down eventually but for those uninterested I'm sure it's really unpleasant right now. And for the future it'll be very convenient for players specifically interested in off site trading to have their own forum to go to instead of having to search through the current options.

Please. It's completely impossible to do in-game sales and trading at the moment.

i know that the dv hype will die down eventually but i see the use for this even then. one forum for all item sales is not enough imo, as testified by the amount and frequency of posts there

Spam is the word. I posted something about a Terror toad and ten minutes later it was literally five pages further down. The thread's unusable if you're trading/selling FR stuff for FR currency.

Yes please. I have nothing against offsite trading but there are so many threads now in the sales forums because of the DV hype it's clogging up everything else. This would help both people who want to do offsite trading and those who don't by separating those two markets.

Of course the hype will die down for Dappervolk, and then offsite traders will have a hard time finding offsite trading threads, it’s just easier to have 2 sub forums because these are 2 very different transactions.

I honestly don't get why they don't have one already. Other sites I've been on all have off site trades separated.

I see some people coming back with "The hype will die down." Well what about all the Furvilla, wajas, chicken smoothie, DV, etc. that will continue to spring up? It would be good for there to be a place for off site trades.

And no, having a separate forum doesn't mean that off site trades are supported or guaranteeed by the site or anything. It is literally just a way to keep forums organized. The other sites that have them do not up hold off site trades any more than FR does.
