This is a really small thing, and idk how hard it would be to implement this, but I think it would be cool if during the elemental holidays Fiona always had at 1 or 2 holiday familiars of that element. I think it should still change every day, but it could be one day there is a sprite and a bear, but the next day it's a goblin and a ambassador! It would still be only 8 familiars, just that 2 of them are definitely holiday ones.

I personally get holiday familiars– and their alts– regularly (like, at least once every other day at the least), but the aspect of having holiday familiars certainly show up during their respective holiday would be neat! I’m not sure what extra programming that would require or if it’s even possible, though. Still, it’s neat in theory!

No thank you. I certainly don’t want guaranteed festival familiars as they are useless to me as I’ve awakened them all and I don’t need half of my familiars in Fiona being ones I’ve already awakened.

I have them and I wouldn't fancy losing slots there to holiday familiars.
If she added a slot during holidays for a random holiday familiar of that element it woukd be okay, I guess.

@DragonSage @Greyjoy thank you for your input! I see where you're coming from, however, I and many other players who haven't been playing for long, don't have these familiars, and it would be nice. Maybe it could be toggled?

@NamelessNekomata
Maybe they could be added extra during holidays..?
Though to be honest, so long as they don't take up the 'you don't own these' slots, I don't care overmuch.

I doubt they'd add a toggle for something like this. I think Greyjoy's idea of adding an extra slot for festival familiars during the festival (so 9 familiars instead of 8) would probably be best--it wouldn't negatively affect those that have been diligent with familiar bonding and would be a bonus for everyone

Support, I think upping the likelihood of festival familiars appearing during festivals would be a fun integration. Those who always have those familiars awakened still get their bond bonus + the extra if it's on a dragon. They're not losing out on anything.

As I've awakened all of my fest familiars bar the latest two or so, I wouldn't want to see them in the main pool. However, an additional slot with only fest fams for the fest week sounds neat! It wouldn't interfere with the current pool of familiars and would be a cute fest feature.

I wouldn't care if they added an extra slot that could have only fest familiars, but about the argument that newer players don't have those familiars and so it would be nice to have them, newer players don't have a lot of older familiars, and some of those older familiars can no longer be obtained from, unlike fest familiars which can (most have went into the joxar box, and Roundsey can give out the year one and two ones, though it is very rare).
As for players who already have those familiars awakened and get them, yes, they are losing out on something, they are losing out on the chance to bond with a familiar they don't have. I don't bond with awakened familiars, nor stick them on dragons. I stick them in my vault. Everytime I get an already awakened familiar in Fiona, that is one less unawakened familiar, whether owned or not, that I can bond with.
that is why players who own those familiars already and/or have them awakened don't really like this, because it means that for 11 weeks out of the year (and are we going to do this for NotN as well?), they are losing out on bonding opportunities they normally would have had. Especially since many of them (not me, I have lots of unawakened-unowned familiars) probably have a great many familiars, most of which are awakened, so they are already limited on opportunity. The familiars they need to awaken are few and already don't show up often (maybe) so every bonding slot on fiona counts, because it is (now) one more chance for one of those familiars to show up.
