TOPIC | Hoard: sort by number in stack
I'd really love to be able to sort by the number of items in a stack/virtual stack - that way I can more easily sell off or archive items that I have lots of. Any thoughts?
Ugh, please! I want to sort my food by how big the stack is!
The current stack sort "by newest" doesn't make sense, I just bought a stack of 99 sweet songbirds to feed to dragons and when I sort by "stack: newest" it shows me a stack of 13 of them. I understand how the algorithm comes up with that but it's not helpful to have all the stacks of items strewn about randomly and I have to click through all the pages to find them. How is that helpful? This is useeeslleeessss. Give me a sort by stack size.
I am sorry for having a huffy attitude, I really do love most of this update, I just didn't realize how annoyed I could be with the hoard. xD It feels like I've been given ten options and 9 of them don't actually do anything.

Yeah I was deeply perplexed by the 'newest' sort and wondered if that had been typed out wrong somehow. I thought we were told in the dev update before the release that we'd be able to sort by number owned? Because I was really looking forward to that.
So I went to look at the dev update and they do say this!

Today's Developer Update will focus on our revamp of the Hoard and Vault systems, both of which are receiving significant improvements from top-to-bottom!
Improved Searching and Filtering
One of the top suggestions in the Suggestions forum is a search feature in both the Hoard and Vault, as it would enable you to find easily and efficiently find items. As you may have noticed, we've implemented robust and comprehensive search options to many previous revamps, and this addition is a continuation of our long-term design goals.
So, with that said, let's get down to it! We're excited to share with you the different ways that the Hoard and Vault will soon support in narrowing down your item searching, including:

Searching by name

Filtering by stack size

Filtering by item subcategory

Filtering by item rarity

Sorting items alphabetically

I hope they didn't mean the filter that lets you "sort" by either single/partial/full stacks. It's great to see my full stacks of 99 (ahhhh so much food), but with "partial stack" I have to sort through all items I also have only 1 of for some reason? So if I have 50-98 of something to feed to dragons it still comes down to clicking through pages and pages of food items. "Partial stack" is a useless parameter. Please just let us sort by # of items descending...

Support!! I really want to convert things I have a lot of, let me sort/filter by that.
And yeah, the full/partial stack filter doesn't really... make any sense, especially when I have stacking turned on.

bumping this up again to see if there's more support because wow is it driving me crazy that I can't find the items I have most of so I can feed those first!

Yes please! Filtering by full/partial stack is completely pointless. I never want to see a set of single stacks of 99 and triple stacks of 99; I want to see the things I have MOST of and the things I have LEAST of. I couldn’t give a rat king’s hind end about how that happens to stack.

Please this! When I want to convert food, I'm always looking for items I have more than 297 (three stacks) of. Being able to search for more than/less than an amount would make my day. Just because I don't plan on using something doesn't mean I want to vault it and put it out of my way, because when I get enough of it I will start using it.

I'd still love for this feature, please just let us sort by largest amount.
