Users that are blocked shouldn't be able to post on the forum threads of people they've been blocked by. Specifically threads created by someone that has them blocked.
Because I don't know about y'all but starting something and having this show up in the middle?

Kinda sucks. I don't want to have to unblock-and-re-block a user just to see what's happening on my own thread.

yeah, 100% support. I thought blocking a user would stop them from posting on your forum, maybe even deleting it? like most sites? but no. it didn't. so i was like ":/ then whats the use" and just unblocked them
maybe even have an option to see what they're saying/have said without needing to unblock them and re-block them

Nope— a player should not be able to affect that player’s ability to interact on the forums, only the admins should be able to do that.. This would affect their ability to add to bug reports (which often only have one thread, duplicates are locked), suggestions, guides, discussions and the sort.
The only thing I could possibly get behind is that such posts have an option to be auto hidden from the blocker’s vision. The blocked player can still post the blockee just doesn’t see ir

I block pretty liberally, and if I ever made a guide for something, I wouldn't want people that I don't like to not have access to it.
Just because I don't like you doesn't mean you're not allowed to look at information I post.

100%, no question about it, absolutely not.
No individual player should ever be able to affect the way another player sees the public areas of the site. Only site admins and/or mods should have that ability (forum bans, etc.).
However, I would like blocks to be modified to show what people you've blocked have said on the site. I have blocked people for selling starving dragons, for example, because I don't want to have to feed them before I train them, but I really don't care/want to see what they're posting on the forums because the reason I blocked them has nothing to do with the forums. So I'd love to have that option.

Blocking a user already affects how they interact with the game, they can't view your profile or buy your dragons. Making it so they simply cannot comment on threads, not so that they can't read it or anything, just comment, isn't much of a leap imo.
Besides, if I block someone, I really do not want them interacting with me, my posts, my content, or anything. People block others for a variety of reasons, including things like their username containing a 'strange' and specific trigger. No one should run the risk of being confronted with something like that on their own posts.

This. There's no reason a blocked player shouldn't be able to post on threads you have made, especially in forums such as, well, most of them actually. If they want to participate in a discussion, they should be able to. I can kind of understand if you make a hatchery or whatever in sales and you block them to not sell to them but there are only very specific circumstances that would call for locking a user out of a thread which I still think should be avoided in almost all cases. The circumstance I just mentioned is also very niche in and of itself, and there's no real way to tell why someone blocked another player. That said, locking them from the thread isn't ideal.
I think a better workaround would be to have an option, as mentioned, where you can choose to see the blocked player's posts if you so choose. An account setting could be made, or there could be a button in spoiler-style that, when clicked, shows the text behind the "____ has been blocked" and all that text. You can then pick and choose what you do and don't see from the player on the forums. Of course, having the aforementioned auto-hide option also would help so you never know they posted in the first place.
Also adding this from below me because they explained it way better than I could've:

Blocking a person should affect that they can't see your profile (not a public area, but your profile) and can't buy dragons from you (interacting with you and potentially harassing you via your dragons' offspring list). The forums, on the other hand, are literally public. There's nothing there that you personally own.
It's a huge leap.
