So as my birthday is approaching and I looked forward to receiving my personal zodiac familiar during Night of the Nocturne, I looked around on the forums and discovered that apparently, this is NOT going to happen!!!

As a Capricorn I'm REALLY saddened to learn that we won't get OUR special familiar in our birthday month like everyone else, but will have to wait another half a year to get it from Fiona - PLUS the time taken to awaken whatever is needed for it, because I haven't even started on the other festival familiars! Just, why??? D: Not-happy-birthday to ME from Flight Rising, thanks SO much.

Please have Fiona release it in December! I cannot see any reason to wait until the end of the cycle, Capricorn comes between Sagittarius and Aquarius. Or better, have them appear in strange chests during NoN - Capricious Capricorns! - but for more of a purchasable element, maybe have some sort of token ingredient appear in chests, which we have to collect to turn in, either to brew or for a one-time special appearance of Joxar. Or have Galore gift one on the solstice. (Although that would come with collectability issues.) Or just have it appear in the marketplace, or at Swipp's Swaps (but for an easily collectable set of ingredients!)

There is a whole forum post of players' issues around this zodiac sign and the current proposed "solution" which I really hope devs will consider so as not to short-change the entire Capricorn membership. Currently we're feeling like it's a personal attack because FR staff hate December birthdays or something :(

Maybe Fiona could release it if you awaken the other 11 zodiac familiars. That'd be cool. It doesn't really matter what month it comes out in, as long as it does.

And if you're feeling like a delayed release of a familiar is a personal attack, you need to have a word with yourself.

I absolutely do not want to see it as a NotN drop as most NotN familiars aren't worth much because they drop too much so this familiar would be worth less than the rest of the familiars in the set.

I am a December born capricorn and I absolutely don't mind the admin's current plan to release it via Fiona. I know some people like to collect multiples of a familiar so could possibly see them release it as a Galore gift, and another copy as a Fiona reward and eventually put in Joxar like the other familiars will eventually so players can get multiple copies

Galore's gift, Fiona reward for another copy + Joxar would be the best solution! As all NotN familiars end up basically worthless, so it wouldn't be fun if that happened to capri.

Each month has 2 zodiacs in it, most of february is aquarius. Most of december is sag actually and notn will be happening in sag season, lol

non-issues aside I do agree that I think cap folks are getting the short end of the stick here. I think a galore drop / baldwin recipe during the last week of december would be a fine solution (then its actually in cap season too, lol)

Or in the 1st week of jan cus I know staff takes holidays around then

Edit to add on; I just think its ridiculous that I (gemini) would be getting my zodiac familiar before cap people will ;<; that doesn't seem fair

TBH I feel they choose the best solution they could, NOTN isn't really a flight festival, so it wouldn't make a lot of sense to give us a fest familiar anyways then.

There's also only 11 flights, which makes me even wonder why they'd go with a zodiac theme because they can't fit all 12 (13 if you count Ophiuchus as a zodiac sign too)

I do agree with Dragonsage's idea, I'm one of each only personally, but it'd be cool to give the option to get multiples for those who do want more

Also, it's not a personal attack like chill.... Many virgos weren't happy either with the serthis familiar we got and were hoping on a dove or a unicorn of sorts. I was happy with it because she's super cute and I love her forever lol. But it's not an attack on any capricorns on site

I support putting Capricorn in NotN SOMEHOW. Please. And if the staff wants to do a Fiona familiar for the zodiacs, I really wish they'd use Ophiuchus. Ophiuchus deserves some love too, and I just want to see my sign included in some way.

EDIT: Capricorn can be a neutral element. Neutral is a valid familiar element.

My birthday is in early February. I'm an Aquarius, not a Pisces. My sister is a Capricorn. Her birthday is mid-January. My mom was a Scorpio, a sign most associated with November, and yet... November didn't get Scorpio. Are you under the impression that astrological signs just cover a straight month? I mean, apparently OP is as well, hence this post, but uh ... no. That's not how it works. Hence me pointing out that OP will be FAR from the only person with their zodiac familiar being released outside of their birth month.
