Not sure if someone else made this but imma shove it on here anyway (I’m sorry)
I’m not a fan of being blinded every morning when I open up FR, maybe there could be a toggle for people to turn on/off night mode? Idk just a simple little thing.
If there are reasons why this might not be a possibility pls share, I’d like to know X3

It's a pretty common suggestion! Staff have already said they're going to look into it, but it's not feasible until after the revamp is complete (and will take a lot of work even then).

Always support a night mode/even more site skins in general. I'm hoping they can get to implementing it sooner, because it's going to be a few more years for the revamp to even be done.

I support dark mode and would use it myself once it's implemented, but with the caveat that I want some scenes that are just plain solid color backgrounds, like a plain white background because I have some not!dragons courtesy of Autopilot skins and it's already hard enough with the semi-transparent default flight background behind the dragon, it would be even worse to have all this white space from the skin on a dark background.

Same for me, though I have to use one for all websites and not just FR because white/bright web pages hurt my eyes these days. I literally can't do stuff on FR for more than a few minutes if I have my dark mode addon turned off. Unfortunately, the dark mode addon I use leaves half of certain pages on FR white, so having a native feature for the site itself (or darker forum Skins as another person mentioned) would be wonderful.

My aging eyes would love this. I can't go to certain sites at night without using my PC's blue light filter because the contrast in the dark room is too much, even with my lamp on!

If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?
