The possibility to buy the equivalent of skin/accent blueprints but for scenes !
Essentially, you could create custom scenes after buying such a blueprint. It could probably use another name in order not to be redundant, though.
Scenes would always have to be the same size and of course would have to respect the usual rules, as in no gore, copyrighted characters, etc...
This way people can create the custom background of their dreams and a whole other market can be opened up alongside skins and accents.

GR4PHIC DESIGN IS MY PASSIoN
(also getting likes on my dragons)
As much as I would love this, its come up that a free-for-all image may be difficult to moderate in previous suggestions like this :[
I would like to see perhaps, a contest for free-for-all scenes, or a coloring contest for a few sets of provided lines.

It would be super hard to have a consistent look - something I feel is one of FRs signatures. FR compared to other sites has an impeccable custom content standard. ANYONE can make an accent, and it still looks like it belongs. Scenes are too big of a blank canvas.. and how do you make sure it's original art? It would open the door to a lot of trouble.

I would love to see custom scenes, but I think it's a much better idea to have scene coloring contests instead of allowing the creation of scenes from a blank canvas.
Agreeing with the comment on custom content standard above. Large images are hard to moderate (things can slip through the cracks, especially considering dragon/familiar placement on the scene) and it's entirely possible that artwork or images can be stolen.

AS said above, a scene is a nightmare to moderate.
It is far different from skins, because a scene is simply a rectangle. There is no shading needed, no needing to stay within lines, while a skin has to follow the pattern the line art of the dragon gives and has to have the shading still visible.
This means that it would be nearly impossible to prevent copyrighted/stolen images from being used, because the moderation team cannot know all the images online, and there are a great many 'screenshots' of various games that would look gorgeous as scenes, but since they are screenshots of games, they are still technically owned by that game.
Most companies wouldn't care. But, all it would take is one company that does (and there have been companies I have heard of going after small businesses and individuals) to cause a lot of trouble for FR.
Also, I would be afraid that FR would use that as an opportunity to just stop making scenes as they did with skins, which means that people would *have* to go to the playerbase to obtain scene, and since they most likely would be far more expensive than skins, simply due to the larger canvas and more work required to complete it, it would put it far out of reach of most casual players.
I wouldn't be opposed to a coloring contest, but I don't really want a contest where people have to 'draw' scenes, because, in my opinion, there are already plenty of opportunities for artists to have their work shine, and it would be nice to have a contest where players who don't have artistic talent to be able to take part in and potentially see their vision turned into official items.

The only other site that I have seen with better custom content standard is Gryffs, but that is because the same artist that draws the site art also does all the custom content, so it is, of course, all in his style.
But, I love that about gryffs. It means I can use custom items with custom recolors of site items, and then toss a few regular site items into the mix without worrying about one looking 'cartoony' or just out of place.
Another site I play doesn't really have custom items (they sort of have custom pets where you can take a PSD and basically recolor/add to it I think) but the person in charge has been taking images (with permission) and using filters on them, and you can tell. They don't always match other items on site, there can be huge gaps in quality due to different artists and, to me, it is just a mess.
While a scene wouldn't be quite like that because it would just go behind the dragon, I far prefer the cohesiveness of Gryffs over the mess that tends to be other sites with far looser custom content rules.

Scene coloring contests would be nice-- or possibly even a scene theme/idea contest where there is no artwork involved for the player. Gives more people a chance to partake :D
