TOPIC | Forum signature presets
I think the ability to save custom preset forum signatures would be a very handy feature, and one that I can see many players using. There can be a multitude of reasons why someone would need to change their signature; updating embedded links (to a tumblr blog, art shop, etc.), updating gender identity or pronoun icons, or even just to show off a new piece of artwork made for their forum signature. These signatures are an important source of self identity, networking, promotion, and creativity, so I think being able to save the custom signatures you make as presets that you can change at any time to reflect your needs/preferences would be an excellent feature. Especially considering the time it can take the properly BBC code your forum signature.

Not really sure about this one. There's plenty of ways to save preset signatures outside of FR, like in a notepad or in google docs.

[/quote] You could save them on FR too in like a dragon bio, which would also allow for previewing of edits without having to open up the signature editor. I'm not against this as a feature but I'm not sure it's needed either.

Honestly I'd really like this!
I change my signature from time to time, but I like to theme my account for holidays and events, and this would allow me to make specific custom signatures for certain events without the hassles mobile causes.
It's a pain to code a signature on mobile due to the box size, copy/pasting in anything can easily auto-select the entire page and takes several minutes to select just the passage you wanted to select (and sometimes it just re-selects the entire page again) code boxes hit this a lot.
So just swapping them out is more trouble than it's worth, especially when it's so easy to accidentally delete what you selected on mobile if an ad decides to mess with the page and move the keyboard.

It'd be pretty neat if you could (as an option, not mandatory) add a dragon/vista preset alongside the signature and save an entire forum preference. If the dragon is no longer available to pick, it defaults to no dragon like with new accounts or asks you to pick a new dragon for the preset.
It'd be a nice quality of life feature I think! Definitely not necessary, but really nice to have, especially on mobile.

@Stormfly For mobile, I would definitely agree. I am also a mobile user most of the time. I can understand how it's technically unnecessary since as a said above you can just save BBC code and copy/paste it, I just figured it could be a nice quality of life feature.

Totally fine with saved signatures that you can easily switch to. Text doesn't take up that much storage, and not everyone will use them. Could even just have a limit of up to 5 saved signatures.

@CatchyEarwyrm19 Oh for sure, I agree! It'd definitely be a huge improvement imo! I'm primarily a mobile user and a lot of simple things are a chore (Copy-pasting on mobile in particular is something I don't like).

I have no idea how easy it is on desktop to swap signatures, but I agree, I think it'd be a great QOL feature!
