I think the title speaks for itself; Let us change the capitalization of letters in our names for free or a small fee. e.g. xev > Xev, Username > USERNAME. This would not be a free change to a new name.
It could be a new settings option or it could somehow work through the username change, like a 2nd, clearly labeled button that lets you type in your current name with different capital/lowercase letters.
The fee, if any, shouldn't be terribly expensive, I think at most it should be 50g. This is small and might not be used much, but I don't think it'd be terribly hard to code.

cannot be used to change capitalisation of your own name (I think the name is stored non-specifically in the database- e.g if i try to change my name from Dragonairia -> dragonairia, it throws an error message of 'Error: you are already using that username.') so if you were to recapitalise, you'd have to change your name to another (either your free user change OR 500g) then change it back with the right spelling (another 500g).

i think a name capitalisation would be simpler to tweak than a completely new username (correct me if i am wrong!!!), plus it has minimal impact on the person- pings still work regardless of capitalisation, it's mainly just a small visual thing. i don't particularly mind if it is free or costs something, as long as it's less than the 1000g required to change it as of right now. even 500g / use of the free username change would be great in my opinion! (though i would still say 500g might be a tad too expensive...?)
p.s i sent in a help ticket about this a while ago! they said that they couldn't help, but that many people had asked for it, so i suppose that we're not alone in asking for it :)

Absolutely support. Subeta did this with names and it was a gamechanger, and huge relief. Especially if you made your username all lowercase when you were younger and didn't know better, then regret it years later.

This has not happened to me but I know many who this has been an issue for and it's kinda stupid that the free name change can't be used to do this.

Support, as others have noted this doesn't impact much (in fact, it impacts so little that the site currently does not register it as a different username for name changes). I don't mind a fee for a real name change, but I don't see why it's needed for basic capitalization.

Support, for the reasons stated above. If the side views Username, username, UserName, etc. as the same name, it shouldn't cost 500-1000g to change it.
