This is a very spur of the moment thing, but I found this amazing art online and immediately thought "That would make an [i]amazing[/i] dragon breed!", especially as an Ancient. The inspiration for this person's art is mostly shrimp, but there is one lobster. i feel like this would make a lot of users uncomfortable, but i don't see a way around that issue aside from user discretion. i would love to see more bug-themed dragons! ^^

We already have a somewhat invertebrate-like breed (Veilspun), but I feel like it could be [i]more.[/I] Crustecean dragons? YES! Arachnid dragons? YES! Annelid dragons? YES! Dragon breed diversity is essential, and with Ancients, we now have the possibility for more creative designs. So yea, bring on the carcinization and shrimpification! EDIT: For those who want a slightly-less shrimpy design (although I digress), perhaps something like the Chelicerate from Subnautica: Below Zero? [img]https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/subnautica-arctic/images/e/ea/Chelicerate_Fauna.png[/img] EDIT EDIT: I agree to disagree with everyone saying that this is not "dragon-like" enough. Mythology dragons are insanely diverse, with little-to-no criteria over what defines a dragon (I have already made a post about this in GD). This (Tarasque) is a dragon, for example. I love all of these so much! Veils are my fav and part of what I love about them is their buggy-ness. This is amazing, and so much space for genes to show!

Support, more variety is always welcome for dragon designs!

I'd LOVE a dragon breed like this! And a tert that gives them fan claws for filter feeding. Ohhh and maybe a set of transparent genes where the color is just a tint over the organs (and maybe the organ colors are determined by the pri/sec colors too) so the dragon looks clear like some species of shrimp.

My shrimp make me happier than the fish in the tank, I'd absolutely stuff my lair full of these.

I don't mind dragons with features from other animals but I don't support any breeds that aren't dragon and reptilian at their core. They should look like a dragon, and these just look like shrimp with wings. So no support.

If the devs design a dragon with crustacean qualities but still have it resemble or read as an actual dragon, then sure, there's no reason not to.

Shrimp are cool, but if what you're asking for is 'random, non-reptilian animal but with wings slapped on' like those examples, then no support for having it as a breed because it doesn't resemble a dragon in any way. Making it a familiar would be a better option at that point.

Also very on board considering i have a tank full of shrimp. Mantis shrimp would make a great inspiration for dragons, considering how powerful and colorful they are!
