"In Flight Rising, if you put enough time into it, you can pretty much craft your perfect dragon. That should remain one of the most important aspects of our game." I would very much like to have a G1 imperial. Multigaze and primal G1s were actually accessible, but Imp scrolls are probably the rarest thing on the site. Not every criticism or suggestion that comes from this update is "salt." Dismissing this suggestion in such a way is childish and flippant, and there's no point in being here at all if you are not here to engage with this in good faith. A lot of people have made a lot of very good points on this thread, both in support and not. While I have always wanted to see people be able to create Imperials, I never so much as posted in a thread suggesting it because I knew it would not happen. However, with this new mission statement, it seems within the realm of possibility. Breed is a part of dragon customization, just as much as eyes or genes are. That is the one and only reason I created this thread.

I know it's unlikely, but.... I can hope. There were always two main rules if you wanted to avoid pain in the scrying workshop: avoid rare types, and don't look at Imperials, because it's simply not possible.

The only thing stopping them from releasing imp scrolls again, in any capacity, is that they said they wouldn't, but.... I'm not trying to be salty, but they also said they would never release natural eye types into the marketplace. This new eye thing is setting a precedent.

I'm pretty sure staff legally can't make more imp scrolls due to kickstarter agreements.

I agree that it was probably a mistake to lock out a whole breed like that, but... there IS a line, and actual legal ramifications should probably be it :/ sorry

"Pretty much" =/= now they need to release ks exclusives.

I wouldn’t have minded treasure eyes but all eyes being bought makes there no point to eyes, as no eyes are special anymore. Gen 1 imps are so special because you can’t get one/ super super hard to get one. By making it easy to get, it waters down the value of the dragons. If everything is easy to get, then FR would no longer be a breeding game, but a dragon avatar customization game. The latter sounding a lot less fun for one who came for a breeding game.

just do the loophole, like the individual vials did over scattersights.

I hadn't considered the legal aspects, but I'm only talking about imp scrolls here, not any of the others. Fams and apparel don't directly impact a dragon and its appearance.

I get that the point of the update was to increase accessibility, and I respect that. I just think if we're gonna start fixing gatekeeping mistakes from the past, imp scrolls are a huge one.
