We'd all love to have some of those dramatic lineart-busting tertiaries of the ancients ported over to moderns, but as we know, in order to be able to dress our dragons the most line-breaking genes we can have are things akin to firefly and spines. But what if we could instead make those big and complex terts into apparel for moderns? What if these clothes had static versions that came in set colors and a version that truly mimicked genes and had a dynamic color based on the tert of the dragon? Of course something like that is just a wild fantasy, but could you imagine? [b]edit[/b]: I also had the thought these could also act as a way to flesh out certain types of apparel that we already have but everyone would love more of, like wisps, bones, fur, etc. [b]edit[/b]: I also agree with those who've pointed out that turning [i]every [/i]line-breaking ancient tert into modern apparel might devalue ancients and make people less interested in them as a whole. So my idea is to take only a small sample of ancient terts (two from each breed) to turn into apparel as to keep the other genes exclusive. You're a genius. I mean that. This is a brilliant solution to giving people those genes without them breaking the rules! Absolutely support.

Edit: The dynamic coloring is probably impossible, but even just giving us a full rainbow of choices would help!

I absolutely love this and will always support line-breaking things being used as apparel for moderns. This is awesome.

Support, although I don’t think every gene should be available. I feel like that would be fair as to not ‘devalue’ ancients. I’d also think the apparel in question would have to cost much more than the gene, as it could be put on any modern while the gene can only be put on one to three breeds. It would also kind of be like having two tertiary genes, so I think it would be fair to have them cost a decent amount of treasure/gems. Edited for poor wording.

I sorta had the thought that these mimic apparel could also act as something of a fleshing out of apparel types we already have but need more of (like people would love more wispy/smoke-like things to compliment WindFest apparel and wind dragons in general and I myself would adore some more bones).

In the case these apparel actually did go above and beyond to literally take on the color of a dragon's tert I'd agree it'd only be fair the set cost a pretty penny.

Oh huge support, what a brilliant idea for apparel! Id love to get my hands on some fans or blossoms too!
Also agree they'd make good fest apparel, but id much rather have multiple sets in varied colors you can mix and match.
