I know it's not going to happen or anything but it would be awesome to have an event and have the possibility for a imp breed scroll.... im a Gen 1 collector and the only reason I don't really have imperials (even though they are my favorite breed) is because I will never be able to afford a Gen 1 if they even exist anymore...

I'm fairly certain that staff cannot do anything about giving players the ability to make a Gen 1 Imperial with any kind of new item. No eggs, scrolls, or any other suggestions. The Imperials and any items given out during the Kickstarter must remain Kickstarter only. On the [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stormlightworkshop/flight-rising-0]original Kickstarter[/url], it states that the imperial is an kickstarter exclusive breed. Unlike Sprials and Snappers that were stretch goals. [url=https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stormlightworkshop/flight-rising-0/faqs]In the FR Kickstarter FAQ[/url]: [b]Are Spiral and Snappers Kickstarter-Exclusive breeds?[/b] "No. If we reach our milestones to unlock these breeds, the Spiral and Snapper dragons will be available to anyone who plays Flight Rising. Their breed scrolls will be found in Flight Rising's marketplace and earned through gameplay." Imperials and all Kickstarter items were [i]rewards[/i] though: [center]"Pledge $30 or more IMPERIAL: The rewards of "fiendish" plus 1 imperial dragon blueprint. Kickstarter's Terms of Use require creators to fulfill all rewards of their project or refund any backer whose reward they do not or cannot fulfill. (This is what creators see before they launch.) We crafted these terms to create a legal requirement for creators to follow through on their projects, and to give backers a recourse if they don't. We hope that backers will consider using this provision only in cases where they feel that a creator has not made a good faith effort to complete the project and fulfill." The rewards are an important part of the campaign and they must: 1. Deliver the items/digital items promised. 2. Use the money they've gotten from backers to fund the project. 3. Uphold the promises of their kickstarter. As of June 8th 2013, the site has created their project with the following systems included: Breeding, Resource Collection, Apparel and Custom Skins, Battles, Mini-Games, "Staying Connected" (basically the promise for adding friends, making message boards, and building the community). Starting on May 30th of 2013 the digital rewards were starting to be fulfilled. It looks like October of 2013 had the last rewards go out, those were physical. They have fulfilled rewards and their project is completed, (this Kickstarter was mostly to fund an upgrade for the Virtual Private Server to a Dedicated Server). However, they still have to uphold the promises of the Kickstarter. Which was to make the rewards that are Kickstarter exclusive stay that way. It's been 8 years... If they were going to do it I feel like they would have figured out what to do by now. I collect gen 1s as well, but unfortunately, you have to either buy an imp scroll (if one ever comes up for an absurd price) or buy a gen 1 imp from a player that is selling one and most of the gen 1 imps are progens from what I've been told (of the 517 gen 1 imps only 186 are non-progenitors). It's not impossible to have one, but it is very, very expensive and difficult to obtain. I personally don't like imps all that much, so this doesn't bother me, but I feel your pain as it is a very difficult goal to achieve.

The devs have made it very clear over the years that this will never happen.

Just something I've been thinking about that's related to this idea: what if the staff occasionally released a couple imp scrolls to the (currently active) kickstarter players? Then the kickstarters could use the scrolls in whichever way they wanted, whether it be hoarding them, keeping them for personal use, or making bank by selling them to others. That was we get imp scrolls back into the game, but FR won't break their promise to the kickstarter players? IDK, just a thought.

To head off a common line of argument - the risk and/or cost of someone suing is probably low. That's not what the legality argument is about.

The legality argument is that FR shouldn't do something with ethical and legal implications even if they'd probably get away with it.

Not that I think that's even a concern given staff's consistent 'if everyone exalted all the imps they'd be extinct' stance.

If I'm not mistaken a thread was shut down recently for a similar suggestion. Staff has made it very clear that this isn't going to happen. It also doesn't need to happen, if imps are your favorite breed then get some imps. They are abundant

That's what we already have. The imperial scroll is already limited. So, since we already have this, we don't need to implement this.
