Hi! I’ve been playing for over a year and only just learned today, from a Discord discussion, that you need an empty lair slot to win a Roundsey’s dragon! When I went to verify this, I see that the information was given in the initial Roundsey’s release announcement in 2018. Newer players are likely not aware of this requirement, though—I definitely wasn’t—so you might consider adding text to the Roundsey’s page that notes it.

I had no idea of this either. Support. It makes sense, it probably should be obvious, but I for one had no idea.
I’ve won chests in Roundsey’s before, and they were sent to me via message. I assumed that if you won a dragon, you’d get a message about it and be given a chance to make room.

Support!
Like Devrana I thought at the start that you'd get a message and be given time to make room, I later assumed that you'd need room to win. I support a note somewhere saying that you need a lair spot open, it seems 'basic' that you'd need room but a note really wouldn't hurt anyone and it makes sure that everyone knows!

Yeah, I can see how this would be unclear for people that:
- Weren't around for the main update where this was primarily noted/new to the site.
- Skimmed the update page.
- Read over this fact on the update page.
While the latter two can still be a bit of a hinderance, making it blatantly clear on the page using larger, bolded type can help so that no one can really say "Well it's your fault!" I'm honestly surprised it wasn't already done this way...

Honestly it feels like one of those things that has no downside and all upsides, and would be easy to implement.
Honestly, my initial thought was 'I thought it would be obvious you have to have lair space', then I remembered cross roads exist...
So yeah, it would be helpful to put on the roundsey page itself that you need a lair space or you could forfeit the dragon prize if you win it. (pretty sure the original annoucement had something like if you didn't have room for the dragon prize, you were bumped down to an item prize, and the dragon prize was redrawn.)
Not everyone goes through and reads old annoucements about existing features (I know I don't), as it is sort of assumed that important information is contained within the mechanic itself, rather than having to go elsewhere to find it. (I know I often don't tend to go through and read the introduction threads for various mechanics if they were introduced before I started the site)

I did not know that and I've been here since roundsey was introduced. Definitely support makeing this more clear.
TBH I feel the information given in announcments needs to be moved to encyclopedia articles so new users have easy access to all the ins/outs of various site features. It took me freaking forever to figure out all the ins & outs of the hibden because I wasn't around when that was released.
