As someone with a lot, and I mean a lot, of projects, keeping track of what I still need can be difficult. Even if you have a great big list of all the items you need in one place, it can be easy to skip over something.
Something that I think would be really valuable for people with both large and small projects alike is a feature similar to the counter in the Marketplace that tells you how much of each item you currently have. But instead, this one would tell you how much of that item you need.
It would be accessible from the clan profile and take you to a new page (similar in function to how you dress your dragon on a different page from their main one). Similarly to the hoard or marketplace, it would have tabs for each type of item for better organisation, which would be pretty important for particularly large wishlists. At the top would be a search bar, allowing you to search new items to add to your list, or find existing items to remove.
Importantly, you'd be able to add more than one of the same type of item to your list. So it's not just "I need a sakura flowerfall" but "I need 3 sakura flowerfall". I'd suggest that there would be a +/-1 and +/-10, to account for items that might be needed in larger numbers, such as food. Plus maybe a +/-99 if you want to add several stacks of something with ease.
How it would work for you, is that when mousing over an item on your wishlist, the tooltip would have a little addition underneath that'd tell you how much you need. This way the function could work across the entire site, unlike the marketplace-specific counter that tells you how many you have.
A very rough mockup that I'm sure staff would make look much nicer than this, but it gives you a general idea at how it would appear.
A potential addition to this is a second counter next to that one that shows you how much you currently own. I don't see this being quite as necessary, but it could be useful. If this were to be implemented, I'd suggest that owning an item on your wishlist would remove it, to prevent you from having to do so manually. (eg: You want 5 skydancer breed change scrolls. You buy two, and the counter will now tell you that you need 3.)
Of course, wishlist suggestions aren't new, though the specific focus on this one is a personal wishlist to make finding items easier. However, I think a feature like this would go well with a toggle that'd let you choose between your wishlist being public and private. Other people would access your wishlist through the same button on your clan profile that you access your own. If public, they would see your wishlist. If private, it would show as empty. This way people could still make use of the feature without worry of other people seeing something they may want to keep personal.
This is a somewhat rough suggestion and I'm sure could do with some polish, so let me know what you think. It's a pretty self-indulgent suggestion because it's something I've wanted for a long time, but hopefully it's something other people can see the use in too.
