There are a lot of dragon avatars I don't use due to the solid white BG being...awkward.
With scenes I thought we'd get some more variety.
So three choices I propose:
Blank (none or the current version)
Faded {A dragon w/o going fully into scenic mode)
Full (Scenic mode)

Support! Yeah, the avatar are bit bland the way they are currently.

Support for solid colors to choose from, maybe alongside scenes, and transparent (so the vista is visible). I wouldn't use scenes but they would still be a good option to have.

Finally wanted to make a thread about this. Glad to see it's still a recent suggestion! Here are the edits I did for my dragons to show off what scenes/vistas look like. If they look familiar, it's because I posted them in FRD a while back.

i would love for vistas to show through! but having a toggle for it. my current avatar i like the white space in, but i've had avatars in the past where i definitely wish there was something to fill in the blanks
always support for more (toggable) customization!

Dang, the white space has never bothered me, but seeing those edits really makes me want the extra color.
In theory it would not be insanely difficult, though I am not a coder. When making scenes they could designate a square matching with the location of each dragon pose's profile square then link that to the profile pic selection. Each scene has the same dimensions so this could be automated somehow for scenes after the first one.
It'd require making the way that profile pics are displayed more complicated since right now it just pulls from the dragon image and links to the profile. There'd need to be an extra layer underneath the dragon or the generation would need to factor in the designated square for profile pictures as the bottom layer. Because the scene is not part of the dragon image, it wouldn't necessarily even need to pull from the same scene a dragon has on. I imagine that it could become an extra part of the Choose an Avatar tab. After you pick an avatar, then it would bring you to another similar display where instead of dragons, there are all the designated squares from scenes which correspond to the dragon pose you picked as an avatar.
(I do not have the time to make an edit right now, but maybe in the future. For now imagine squares from different scenes in place of the dragons below)
