I did search for this subject to see if it had been suggested before. It has. Multiple times. However, most threads, if not all, are several years old and I didn't want to necro an 8 year old thread, for example.
I would love see this option to be added. I am constantly searching for specific dates. I have to hover my mouse over each dragon icon to see if the age is somewhat close to what I'm seeking. It would be amazingly easier if I could just search by age instead of the method I do now. It would save SO much time too.

Age: Younger to Older or Age: Older to Younger.

Big support! As someone with an older account, I like picking up dragons that are a few years old for lore purposes and such, but there isn't really any good way currently to search for those other than coming across them by cheer luck when flipping through the AH.
Filtering by number of ID digits will get me 7+ year old ones, sure, but I'm not necessarily looking for expensive lower digit dragons as much as just ones that are 3/4/5, etc. years old. Implementing an option to let me look specifically for dragons within a certain age range would be a life saver TwT

Support! and also either replace "Expiring later, with 'newest' " in cases where people put up 1 day auctions instead of 7 day. Or at least adding this option in addition to the others

I would love both this and another addition! I'd love to see them add a filter for years, similar to the way they did the generational filter. A dropdown that lets you choose 1 yr old, 2 yrs old, 3 yrs old, 4 yrs old, and 5+ yrs old
ETA: And possibly another option when it gets to it - 10+ yrs old

I hate searching by genes and colours to look for a specific dragon - it would be way easier to search by the age or ID like @ /Alkhor had suggested.
