TOPIC | a pocket tab for items.
So there's hoard tabs like "other" and "familiars" and I'm sure I'm not the only one who has to scroll through these tabs multiple times before I find what I'm looking for to post on the Auction House, melt at Baldwin, or send in a Crossroads.

If we had a "pocket" tab, where we could search for items in the hoard - whether they're food or fams or whatever - and then move them over to the pocket, it'd be way easier to find them when using functions that don't support searching.

I like this. I wish that the "favorite" option was included with a Favorites tab and favoriting an item would move that item into the Favorites tab
I'd still infinitely prefer search bars being added over this to be honest, it's a feature that's overdue in its implementation anyway with baldwin/crossroads/PMs/AH selling/etc. That being said, if it were something more along the lines of just a "favorites only" tab, if we really needed that alongside/more than just adding a "favorites only" sort option to each tab individually, I suppose I would be fine with it. I just can't imagine what use the majority of the playerbase would get out of it.
I'm not certain if you know already from the way you worded this, but just in case it's helpful there is a favorites only filter already in the hoard/vault, it's at the top to the right of the tabs, there's a padlock and star button pair. The star shows only favorites when clicked.

I guess it depends on how much stuff "the majority of the playerbase" has. I just assume we all have giant junk-pile hoards, and that if adding a search function to CR/baldwin/AH was easy, it would have been done already.

in my mind; search hoard -> move hard item to pocket -> pocket item to CR/AH/baldwin

is way easier than

start a CR -> search for Wisp Fruit or whatever > scroll through items again because you missed it -> scroll through items again because you missed it -> scroll through items again because you missed it -> scroll through items again beca

a favs tab would do the same thing, I'd be in favour of either/or. Except it would be annoying to have to fave Wisp Fruit just to send a CR, then have to un-fav it because you did the thing already and no longer need it in the fav tab.

Honestly, I would love a pocket tab. I am constantly moving stuff between my vault and my hoard because of whatever I'm working on at the moment.

I tend to check for den slot items daily, but I don't want to give those to Crim or Baldwin or Swipp, so I move everything out of my vault, do the check, and then put all of the yellow marked items away again. Swipp occasionally has items I want, so I go into my vault and pull everything out, check to see what I have enough of/what I need more of, and then put all of the purple items back. I'm not usually making specific things for Baldwin, so much as just transmuting materials, but I do Baldwin throughout the entire time that I'm on. Which means I need to keep all of the Swipp/Den items safe and, since we can't see their use designation on the Baldwin page, that means putting them back in the vault. Same for Crim, honestly.

So, yes, having a separate pocket designated for Crim/Baldwin so they can't pull from anywhere else would be great.

I love this and truth be told I would pay money to add more slots to such a tab, to make it a money sink :p
