TOPIC | Greater variety of Scenes
I am very excited every time a new Scene is added and I would love to see a greater variety of them in the game! I feel that they are probably the easiest form of new cosmetic to implement since you only need to draw it once and it doesn't need varieties for different breeds and portraits like with apparel or genes.

A scene I would most love to see? A Deep Sea Scene! We got two underwater scenes right now but not all of our dragons are coral reefs dwellers, some of them go deeper than the light reaches and I would love to be able to reflect that with a background.

And there's many more suggestions for different scenes to be made - a foggy field, a mountain range, a playroom table for a child, that with perspective suggets that the dragon is the size of a toy, a lagoon, edge of a waterfall or spire of a castle. Maybe couple scenes made for the dragons that look like they're in flight. It would exclude a lot of the dragon poses that are very clearly sitting or standing - but it's fun to have options.

And if making a greater amount of scenes would start feeling like repeating certain environments, another idea would be to take existing scenes and give them second variety with a different color pallette! We have different color combinations for dragon genes and apparel, so why not scenes to match?
Since sometimes a theme and composition of a scene matches a particular dragon, but the colors clash.

Maybe it could be something as simple as giving each scene a day/night version that can be switched between on each dragon, or have each pallette version a separate item that has to be sold and bought. There's many ways to approach this.

The real suggestion here is to have a pinned Scene thread, like there are pinned Apparel and Gene threads (and should be a pinned Eye Types thread). Scenes have only been out for a year, so it makes sense (to me) that they're not as populous as other types of customization. Even if you only gotta draw it once, fully rendering a landscape takes longer than fully rendering a character (and it takes me between four to eight hours to do that; I can't speak to if the FR artists can go faster than I can though) so it's not as time-cheap as you might expect.

All that context aside, "more scenes" is one of those no-brainer support things. Library scene when? It's just... also a problem that will solve itself over time, as more scenes have the chance to be implemented. I do worry that the dual-mode scenes would lead to interface bloat, but it sounds like a neat idea if it can be made to work!

I like being pinged, but not mass ones.
I often process thoughts by writing... Trying to TL;DR more.

[/quote] I realise that my suggestion isn't anything original or smart :) I was just hoping to add my voice to overal interest in making a greater variety of scenes and express my appreciation for the concept. I would also enjoy seeing a pinned scene thread, it would allow me to express my interest without having to put myself out there with a whole new post. Im also a relatively new player so I didnt know that scenes are also a pretty new addition! And of course, I'm an artist myself and I realise that its no easy task to make a full scene, but when I look at the amount of variants for all the breeds and two genders, it makes me sweat. Making a single scene by comparison seems a little more manageable. So just wanted to put it out there - Scenes are probably one of my favourite customisation elements and I will enjoy seeing more for them added in the future. I hope I didn't come across as entitled.
