The Ephemeris clan began as a project, a pair of wandering Mirrors by the names of Dystopia and Kiinai enlisted by the Arcanist to start a clan among the floating Isles. The two started off as an awkward pair of rivals, constantly disagreeing and skrimmaging, even occasionally requesting to call off the clan's beginnings. All their requests were, of course, vetoed. Nowhere near ready to start a family and tie themselves to each other, Dystopia and Kiinai turned to thievery and marketing to establish this clan-in-the-works. Unintentionally introducing a confusing mass of opposing elements and species to this newborn clan, they half-heartedly raised the clan's first generations before abandoning all responsibilities and fleeing to live their own lives. Umbra, the clan's current nurse and surrogate mother, is all that remains of the Ephemeris' sloppy beginnings. Seemingly the only one wise and loyal enough to stay and thrive, Umbra sought out strong and compassionate dragons by the same means as Dystopii and Kiinai. Soon enough, she had rallied a completely new Ephemeris clan with enough determination and loyalty within them to turn the group into a safe haven. With its most recent generations, the Ephemeris clan has become a shelter for lost and wandering dragons of all species and elements, regardless if they need to stay one night or for the rest of their lives. While not completely stable job and structure-wise, the Ephemeris have miraculously found a way to thrive and conquer above all odds. Every dragon in the clan has a story to tell, and within the combination of every tale lies a strong, family bond. Both emotional and physical support are never lacking within the lair. From petite to towering, hatchling to elder, healthy to frail, anyone can find a home here.

I don't mind the rename at all - it suits her! I'm just happy that she has found a home. As you saw (and thank you, by the way :3) I've got piles of lore - too fond of pixel dragons - so I'm always delighted when they find a home. Especially a lore one!...

LOL I guess that is a sound plan for keeping your lair small. My lair is like "Hey guys, can't we add that island over there and just expand our territory? We could easily support 50 or 100 or more dragons." LOL
Cactus should be EVERYONE's spirit animal :'D He's actually part of a long-term project of mine to own the heaviest and lightest Snappers! He's the biggest I could find, and Iceberg is the smallest!

How do you manage to keep your lair so small? I never have enough space. I only have space now because I am switching flights and have hatched no nest recently, plus a friend has 10 of my dragons in their lair. LOL
