We are proud to be one of the Southern Icefield's newest biological and draconological research institutions, specializing in investigation into the unique ways that plants, animals, beastclans, and dragon clans alike have adapted to survive in our harsh but beloved icefields.

The Snowsquall Archive was founded by Isolde, a Guardian who found her Charge in a small abandoned cache of fossils and the research notes of a mysterious (and probably lost) expedition. Her curiosity got the better of her, and she hated to think that the expedition had been in vain, so she sought to preserve and expand upon the research she'd stumbled across so fortuitously.

Now she and Arnhvatr have gathered a small but growing number of dragon researchers. Ari's particular interest is in easing tensions between the Beastclans; how he came by this interest is a long and somewhat painful story which he does not tell to strangers, but he considers the Archive to be something of a second chance.


* Astronomer dragon! Probably Arcane but open to other flights, not super picky about exact colors, breed, or gender. Really just looking for some indefinable sense of personality here.
* Female Fire (or Water) dragon, blue/sunshine/sunshine, for a Rowena Ravenclaw fandragon. (Wildclaw or Skydancer preferred.) ON HOLD because have you SEEN the Ultramarine Poison/Toxin previews, BE STILL MY HEART.
* Female Light dragon, banana/black/banana, for a Helga Hufflepuff fandragon. (Snapper preferred.)
* Female Shadow Obsidian/Mulberry/Maize dragon, Nocturne highly preferred. To be named Artemis and made part of an all-Shadow coli team with my existing dragons, Selene and Hecate. CURRENTLY TRYING TO BREED THIS. Nocturnes, you take too long to make babies. :(

I DO EXALT DRAGONS. A lot of my permanent dragons are funny-looking and were bought at exalt prices -- I like striking dragons as much as pretty ones, often -- so it's possible I bought your dragon because I love crackle tert disasters or I have some weird project planned, but if you have seller's remorse and want a dragon back, (ESPECIALLY if the dragon is on page 6-8 of my lair and not for a breeding project) please contact me. I can't guarantee I'll sell the dragon back to you -- like, if I've already leveled it up to 10, you're probably out of luck -- but I'd rather not exalt a dragon someone really wants in their lair.

I am 2 hours ahead of FR time.

"Daily weather" is pulled from the Weather Underground pages for an Antarctic base, a North Pole weather station, and my own local weather, whichever is coldest. (This winter, it is usually my own local weather. I'm just so thrilled.) I make no claims to meteorological accuracy, nor do I have any idea why dragons have Fahrenheit or Celsius. Maybe it should be in Kelvin?
