The Anemoi
Scouts, Insect Gatherers

This foursome of Skydancers arrived at the Avarice Clan together, and remain inseparable. Chaos approved their entry to the clan because their beauty and self-possession impressed her, and because she needed a team of scouts. Mirrors are not great flyers and the elegant Skydancers seemed an ideal choice - provided they supplied their own food. Collectively known as the Anemoi, their past remains a mystery to the other dragons of the clan. They all originate from different places but their close relationship was already long-established when they joined. They take their names from the four winds.

Auster: The South Wind, bringer of the storms of late summer and autumn.
Blood-winged Auster is flighty and mistrustful, wary of dragons outside of the Anemoi. Easily startled and stressed, she nonetheless makes an observant and successful scout due to her wary, ever-roving eye. She rarely speaks and, like the other Anemoi, spends a great deal of her free time preening and admiring her own glossy, vibrant colours.

The Anemoi are incredibly aloof, rarely spending time with the clan as a whole and preferring to keep company with themselves. They mate interchangeably, though Aquilon and Auster, and Eurus with Zephyrus, is the most common arrangement. Regardless of who created the eggs all four Anemoi attend the nest and care for the hatchlings.

The Anemoi can most commonly be found gathered together on the outer reaches of clan territory, or flying in pairs during their scouting for food, items, familiars and danger. They perch above the rest of the clan, looking down on the others with open disdain, though they are respectful of Chaos and Maelstrom's leadership.

They have been broken, the Anemoi are no more, The last she saw of proud Aquilon he was headed towards the Land of Wind. She knows nothing of what happened to Zephyrus and Eurus. She isn't sure she wants to know.

Her reckless flight had left her dehydrated and half dead in the Ashland Waste. She had woken in agony, the pain of Zhenghua ripping into her sides to get at her innards, his favorite part to eat, bringing her screaming into awareness.

Her screams draw the attention of Siric who had been hunting with his twin nearby. The younger dragon had chased away his fellow clan mate and taken her back to the caves he shared with his nest pack.

She's learned that he and Siridevi are the least likely to eat her without reason. Zhenghua hunger is all compassing and Rene has unusually sharp teeth for a tundra. She could have sworn she'd seen another dragon in the lair but so far she has only caught of glimpse of eye blinding colorful fur.

She preens her wings and hopes to keep Siric's attention on her. She notices how Rene's smile grows sharper and how Zhenghua creeps closer everytime Saric isn't paying her enough attention.

She is more quiet than ever, wary, frightened and compliant. She is terrified, her feathers have started to fade with stress. She courts the attention of Saric's twin when he is busy and desperately thinks up ways to make the other two regard her as more than just their next meal.
