Clan Lore:
The original clan was founded by Solara and Obsiendri, and was briefly separated into two rivalling sections. Following the clan's migration from the Starfall Isles to the Shifting Expanses, the clan underwent some changes in rulership, becoming the High Court of the Coiling Tempest.

The High Court consists of the High King and Queen, who rule over the whole clan. Their trusted advisors are called the Triad, a trio of dragons that oversee different aspects of every day matters and advice the King and Queen on how to approach certain situations. The Triad's immediate underlings also make their home in the lair of the High Court.

The Dominion are the newest addition to the High Court, a group formed and led by Ripfang and Soyonzur. Their numbers consist mainly of gaolers, and their goal is to track down any remnants of the Shade as well as hunt, disable, imprison or dispose of anyone touched by the Shade. While technically not under the direct rule of the High Court, they have close dealings with the High King and Queen as well as the Royal Guard.

The Lost Cavern resides at the highest summit of the clan's lair network. Accessible only via a well guarded yet long and arduous passage within the lair itself, or by braving the hazardous lightning storms that constantly shake the area, the Lost Cavern is an ideal home for the Banescales that have taken residence with the clan. Led by clutch sisters Ti'nithiel and Chi'razar, the Lost Cavern is far enough removed from the Dominion for the Banescales to feel safe.

The Royal Guard oversee the protection of the High King and Queen, as well as the Triad. They do so by patrolling the clan's territory, as well as by providing the necessary means for the clan to survive. The Royal Guard also counts among its members the clan's most renowned hunters as well as their battle mages and healers.

The Shadow Court is a separate sect within the clan, consisting of dragons loyal to the mysterious imperial that calls himself Za'Kir. The Shadow Court has sworn themselves to protect the clan from the undead, and their duties include making sure no Emperor arises on the clan's territory. While the Shadow Court is not considered to be strictly under the High Court's rule, these dragons respect the High King and Queen enough to follow their orders... for now.

The Court of Elements is the home to the clan's elemental ambassadors and their mates. They advice the High King and Queen and the Triad on all matters that are elemental in nature, or that concern clans residing in other flights. It is led by the Arcane Ambassador, who has resided with the clan for the longest time.

The Minor Court is what the clan calls everyone who does not fall into any of the other courts. Despite the noble name, they are mostly made of what others might consider the working class. Despite this, the High Court holds them in high regard, as they are essentially what makes the whole clan work, and allows them to live at the unpredictable weather of the Tempest Spire.

The Ephemera is the lair of the High Court's esteemed guests. Wandering dragons stop by freguently by the Ephemera where they gather their strength and interact with the rest of the clan before moving on.

I might sometimes lean towards the quiet side, especially when approaching people I don't know, and as such do not have a habit of adding people I've never spoken with to my friends list.
