Clan of the Midnight Sun

On the border of the Sunbeam Ruins and the Tangled Wood sits a lost city. To anyone peering at it from afar, it appears to be nothing more than a ruinous stretch of crumbling buildings and pillars, much like most of Light's territory. However, were they to step onto the grounds of the city itself, they would find a mysterious sight indeed...

A thick magical veil would lift before their eyes, and the ruins would be renewed! Fantastic buildings restored to their ancient glory, glowing lanterns hung between hewn marble pillars, and expertly cobbled streets leading through the entirety to a massive temple. But the one thing more noticeable than any other would be the sun. Or rather, the near lack thereof.

Glancing up into the sky, it becomes clear that all is not right in this place. Where the sun should be shining brightly, a blackness blocks most of its face. The land beneath it is cast in an eerie and permanent shadow.

This is the land of the midnight sun. A mysterious and ancient kingdom lost to time, now found by a group of researchers...for better or for worse. While the scholars here search for answers, a dark force locked away for centuries is set free to its own devices once more.

Could this city be the discovery of a lifetime, or a cursed land better left forgotten?
