Notice: I use my hibernal den for main lair overflow and projects. Being in the hibernal den doesn't mean they're less important or cherished than my main lair dragons. :)

Deep within the land surrounding the Behemoth, one might notice a twisting patch of trees. At the base of their ancient trunks, a small tunnel can be found hidden under an umbrella of foliage. Following this tunnel would lead to a clearing containing a mossy cave entrance, shadowed by the towering leaves and branches extending from the surrounding trees. This cave is the lair of the Ivycave Burrow clan, and is protected by thick, thorny vines and roots. A small river winds through the trees and past the cave, and beautiful and fragrant flowers flourish in the rich soil.

If granted permission inside the cave, one would notice the ivy covering the rock walls, and lantern-lit halls leading to personal burrows and meeting areas. Though cozy, strong vines snake around any non-exit openings to the outside, protecting the dragons from intruders while still letting natural light shine through during the day. Private gardens surrounded by tall hedges extend from various burrows and chambers, each reflective of the dragon tending to it. Familiars prowl freely, providing additional protection and companionship to the dragons residing in these burrows. Despite the warmth of the forest, the underground burrows and stone cave walls provide a refreshing coolness and break from the humidity.

A smaller cave, located near the pristine river is reserved for outsiders - visiting dragons, familliars, and friendly beastclan members rest and heal in this sheltered area.

Ivycave Burrow scouts and healers scour the twisting forests of the massive labyrinth in search of lost or injured beings. Though never granted permission into the fiercely-protected main cave, these creatures are assisted back to the burrow if desired and offered fresh water, nourishing food, and exceptional healing at the smaller guest cave. After they’re feeling back to normal, an Ivycave Burrow scout will guide them to their destination so they don't get lost or hurt again.

The clan doesn’t ask for any treasure, materials, or food in exchange for their help, as they just want to have a purpose and a positive impact on others. Being nature dragons with more than enough food, an endless water source, and plenty of scouts, healers, and herbal potions, caring for fellow life is not only within their capabilities, but is a part of their very essence.

Every once in a while I look to see if any of my sold dergs had kiddos before they moved on to serve their deity. Noticed Lantern, what a cool outfit! Glad you're enjoying him. :)
