The moisture in the air around the Wyrmwound is nearly unbearable to outsiders, although it’s not nearly as terrible as what might happen if you fell into the lake below... You find yourself at the opening of a lair marked by two stone columns covered in sinew and pustules. An intimidating skydancer covered in battle scars greets you at the entrance.

The Abiding Boneyard was a cruel place, a barren wasteland where the wind whistled through the remains of numerous creatures. However, it was the only place Pestilence knew after she was abandoned for being the smallest and weakest in her clutch. Still a hatchling, she learned very quickly that she would need to fend for herself in this world.

One day while digging for insects, Pestilence was ambushed by a Serthis who saw the advantage of attacking such a small skydancer all by itself. Her instincts drove her to fight despite her clear disadvantage. Deep down, her will to survive pushed her through the desperate circumstance and she slew her attacker, taking all her strength in the process.

Endure. Survive. Evolve. The words echoed in her head as she awoke in an unfamiliar den. A towering shadow before her watched as she laid there. “Your strength of will is powerful”, its voice boomed, “Given time, you could be a powerful warrior. Such resilience is valued by my clan.”. Pestilence’s eyes finally adjusted to the light, revealing the domineering imperial clad in white armor before her. “Join us”.
