they both consider the other to be fraudulent.
outsiders don't see either of them as much more than a bunch of nuisances.

⠀"this clan's dragons strive to upkeep their reputation of benevolence and kindness towards all. they are thorough in their presentation and grooming, for they know their colorful hides are attractive to most. duplici dragons can be loyal allies to those they deem worthy. any "lesser" creature inspires hostility and often becomes prey, but not before they're strung along with false compassion and made use of. most of the clan prefers solitude, either living alone or with their mate. this allows them to isolate enemies and keep their deceitful ways unknown."

⠀"a smaller, withdrawn clan, consisting of only a select few dragons. though their appearance leads others to believe they are a ruthless and angry bunch, in reality they are very docile. the few in this clan prefer to stick together, using their intimidating looks to keep danger at bay. duplici considers these dragons to be their clan's sworn enemies, but decepti is almost completely unaware of this rivalry. there is a rumor that the latter group has been attempting to ally with the neighboring plague clans, but in reality they simply get along well together."
