OceanSong

OceanSong comes from a long line of pure Water Imperial Seers. Thanks to his ancestry and his connection and faith to the Tidelord rather than the Breeds original matron deity, the Lightweaver, his kind have prospered peacefully, more so than Imperials of other Flights, thanks to the sea god's compassion. OceanSong was not blessed with the coloration of the water god, but with he was gifted with a stronger capability for both hydromancy and seeing the future, able to see even the vision of the exact moment he will die. Dragons are born with a purpose or they forge one in life, and when that purpose is fulfilled, they die. Imperials are no different, but with the breed being known for their unpredictable lifespans, this is definitely a mercy granted to them. Unlike the Tidelord's first children, who can live long after their precious Charge has expired.

When he was younger, his first vision came to him in as he was learning how to scry prophecies from bubbles. He was much older, guarding a Coatl by his side from danger and teaching him all he knew about predicting the future. The vision of his own death came later, when he performed his first crystal pool ritual in solitude. It was a good death, one that would make any Guardian dragon burn with envy. He would leave Sornieth, proudly knowing that this prodigal Coatl would become one of, if not the most powerful Seers of the age, second only to the Tidelord and his more Ancient children.
