^{It was in a quiet clan that Auralion hatched, deep under the murky brambles and faraway from the sunlight of the world. Another Night Warrior born into the darkness of the world. Fitting.

But nothing is ever so easy, and Auralion’s life was no exception. He wasn’t the first of his siblings to officially join the ranks of the Night Warriors, that was Eira. He wasn’t the first to leave for a new clan either, that was Lili. He wasn’t even the first to learn his parents’ signatures skills, those dragons were Lili and Lothair respectively. Unlike the others, Auralion thought he would be of more use acting as a much needed sentry for the clan, instead of training and putting his skill into even more training.

Months passed with him quietly polishing his skills and taking lead as the clan’s morning sentry watch, both coordinating where dragons would be when and deciding his place on the field. The depth of his skill went largely unnoticed even by his mother, Laelia, until his cheeky younger brother came of age. The dragon insisted on undergoing the Night Warrior’s official training, an undertaking Auralion never had the time for before. Their parents took on more of the clan’s sentry duties to allow him the time to join the ranks of the family.

While the brothers trained, Auralion ceased holding back and it impressed even his brother. Where Lothair had the precision training afforded him, Auralion’s experience was the deciding factor. Lothair was better than him only in whatever he was trained for. It wasn’t hard for Auralion to best him time and time again with moves the younger didn’t see coming.

He had a lot to learn. Auralion needed only perfect his form.
