Lore Thread: Knotty Narratives

If it were not for a low, rhythmic song resonating deep from within a thicket of vines, the Diamond Rooks Sanctuary would be difficult to find among the vast, vibrant flora of the Viridian Labyrinth. A small parting of brush betrayed a cryptic, beaten path which narrowly snaked through the dense vegetation.

The end of the trail parted into three separate directions, each one much larger and clearly more traversed. They were simply marked with one wooden sign at the center in which a sturdy, diamond crow sat perched upon the top.

Any of the paths could be taken to wander through the cozy community of close-knit dragons. Their homes and shops were living vines that had been woven together with mud and leaves to create intimate alcoves that blended perfectly into their surrounding environment, each one adorned with its own various trinkets and knick-knacks.

Hatchling laughter echoed down a modest stream, an eerie fable danced across perked ears, and an odd sort of metal bauble harvested berries off a nearby trailing plant.

All appeared to be tranquil, and no one would say otherwise.
