Vera is Sweetgum's little sister. She likes to gloat about being the prettier of the two after Sweetgum accidentally used a scatterscroll on herself.

Vera shares her older sibling's passion for plants and is often seen collecting them together. She prefers less showy flowers and likes foliage with exciting textures. She has a collection of rare and unusual orchids which she treats like her own children.
