Ventus Lingula. It rests on a wide headland, South West of the Windswept Plateau, a settlement that is home to quite an abundance of peculiar dragons. Strange, intriguing, quirky and odd! There are many more to be described. They are a clan of many colourful personalities that decorates the small community within, mingled together in harmony among the clouds that made up the mighty storm that is the Twisting Crescendo and the expanse of reed and bamboo.

Surprisingly enough, they are a solitary clan; preferring to leave the many events and occurrences for the rest of the world to manage. Although their brothers and sisters are known to be explorers-- always so eager to socialize with every being they encounter and never stays at one place for long-- these dragons, however, are wallflowers. Some of them would go travel, yes, but only to observe and always comes back to their peaceful dwelling on the edge of the plateau. On rare occasions, the clan leader would join gatherings of other dragon leaders to discuss important matters if it is something troubling enough. He would only speak if he feels the need to contribute and more often than not those around him would startle at the sound of his voice. A constant occurrence that he finds devilishly amusing.

Very few others know well of the dragons that live on the side of the steep slopes that formed near the edge of the cliff of the headland. Most likely because of the location itself, outsiders would be reluctant- and most the time downright refused- to come on such minacious grounds ergo leaving the clan with very few visitors.

Those few who do know them would say as much as the rumours would; uncanny and unpredictable. Little to none have experienced being among them long enough to know what these dragons are like. A majority of the Sornieth’s population would find it ludicrous that such a clan exists at all. The clan does not take offence on this, however. They are immensely aware of their situation yet they find it thrilling to leave the whole world guessing.

Living between the edge of a massive cyclone and a cliff dropping into the sea, these dragons have become the most dauntless of all. They find no trouble navigating through the strong gale and certainly find it no harder to avoid the crashing waves below. They have built solid, enduring shelters and buildings to withstand the storm’s everlasting winds. They have powerful, rich magic to enhance the protection of the clan’s settlement. Their cunning and outlandish ways have thwarted the many dangers that come hurling at them and their homes.

They are wayward children living under the Windsinger's wings.

I’m sorry if the above was a pain to read but English is not my first language, and writing in English is hardly my forte.

Hi and hello! Name’s here Capri :D

20ish - Malaysian - She/Her - FR+16

I did not register to this site like most normally do as this account was passed on to me by someone on Instagram (bless that wonderful being).

I accept random friend requests but I'm also socially inept and possibly have a mild case of ADHD so please don't be offended if I don't say anything to you at all. Do feel free to message me first!

I do not exalt dragons given to me for free however

Those who do not wish for their dragons to be exalted immediately after purchase, DO NOT sell them at fodder price.

- i watch the birth of your hatchlings. i.e. i like to look for dragons with special ids by inputting numbers into the Scrying Workshop.

- i draw but very, very rarely.

- lore is still a work in progress. if i'm free and motivated enough, i'll be illustrating the clan's location and scenery.

- ventus lingula is supposed to be latin for "wind tongue" (because of the clan's location). i got it straight from google translate. if you understand the language and this name is wrong, please correct me ^^;

- threads that somehow i can't get delete (so annoying): thread 1, thread 2, thread 3, thread 4, thread 5
