This is Voltspire...
The Voltspire Factory sits perched atop one of the great mesas of the Lightning Farm, at the very heart of the Shifting Expanse. Hundreds of dragons call the spire home and themselves clan, working tirelessly in the factory to create coppercoil and black iron creepers, as well as other fantastic works of engineering ingenuity. The creepers are sent to clans all over Sornieth to serve any number of positions within a clan structure. From cleaner bots to patrolling sentries, Voltspire has the creeper technology down to a science. With one of the highest efficiency rates in the Shifting Expanse, the clan rakes in profits claw over fist, putting them eternally back into the factory in the eternal search for increased productivity.
Normally ruled by a Tempest Queen and her Squall, recent losses have seen the factory falling under new management. Squall Xanatos, son of the late Tempest Queen Nazcal and Squall Amphere, has taken the factory under his wing, pushing its workers into a frenzy of mass production in an effort to increase its profit margins tenfold. The result is to pull the clan away from its shamanistic roots; storms are for building, not for dancing. Many in the clan find this increase in their workload to be cruel and painfully demanding, the suppression of their beliefs offensive, but as dissenters begin to vanish, rebellion falls into fearful silence.
The dragon with the loudest voice against these new reforms is Tinker Kikita, princess in her own right and promised to Xanatos from an early age.Though the young Squall has tried in vain to bend his would-be queen to his will, Kikita’s open rebellion against Xanatos’ soulless obsession of profit over dragon well-being has turned her into a leader of her people, and as such, the Squall has had to lock her away to keep her rallying cry silent.
As demands increase and uncooperative clan members begin to disappear, things start spiraling out of control as an unseen enemy begins plaguing the spire and dragons with the soulless eyes of machines start roaming the corridors.

No. Imps grow forever.
What's that? Imp hatchling? Aw, cute. 4 metres. Little baby.
Wow adult imp. 25 metres. Not bad. You looking pretty cool there, friend. Keep it up.
Wait, still adult imp? 50 metres? Calm down there friend. Maybe time to stop.
Why are you 79 metres. What's happening. Please don't.
184 metre imp. Unable to percieve other dragons as anything but ants. Actually bigger than all of the deity's but they seem pretty used to this.
243 metres. Imps are taking over the world. Can't even see other dragons anymore.
403 metres. FR in chaos. Undel is dead. There's nothing left here anymore.
Why is my lair just a hollowed out imp.
