Order, chaos, who's to say? While headed by a council of Founders, the Temporal Clan more or less lives at the whim of the Starfall Isles. Those that find their way to the lair are more often than not greeted by the equivalent of a mismanaged collective of magic users attempting to do ten things at once each.

Unsurprisingly, that's exactly what's going on here. Though mixed in with the Arcane landscape and ideals, the clan itself prefers to rely most on scientific practice and experimentation to produce viable solutions to problems. Due in part to recent events and a centralized interest, the Temporal Clan is mostly composed of scientists and talented magi that work cooperatively to yield the best results.

From the recently established Embassy of Elements to the scattered scientists developing laboratories and research bases, the motives of the clan have shifted greatly since their establishment. All living under the guidance of the Ten Founders to even visitors passing through maintain a sightline on reaching a seamless mix of science and magic.

Though the presence of many scientists in the group was held with mild disdain by the Founders at first, their surge in number has softened them to the thought of keeping them around. Perhaps this was aided by how well they worked with the residential magi which made them willing to accept their presence. Yet amidst the disorganized mess that ultimately makes up the whole of the Temporal Clan remains with but a few missions: care for each other, achieve long-sought dreams, forgive the past, expect the future...

And find out what that strange mechanical structure nestled within the deepest recesses of the lair is... and how it came to be... Is the disorder perhaps nothing but a distraction from the grave secret surrounding the clan? Even though it is not their intent to hide something from the world, this device that they've sworn to protect holds some deeper meaning and purpose that even they have yet to understand.

In the past there were some that died protecting the clan's unusual "treasure," if one could even call it that. It has come to the point where the residents do more to distract outsiders from the grim reality they are forced to keep covert, rather than truly solve what this thing is.

Even still, there are still those living within the clan who know more than they're letting off or keep the matter hush-hush between themselves and those on a need-to-know basis. No doubt the need for scientists has been urged on by this long since dormant device that is slowly becoming less and less quiet by the day.

Outsiders are urged not to question what is going on behind the scenes, but the Temporal Clan continues to do its best to help those in need. Though it's becoming evident that the secret they've been desperately trying to cover up isn't as much of a secret that they had hoped it would be. What is it hiding...?
