In her youth, Hathor apprenticed under a veteran shepherd in Dragonhome. She returned with a flock of sheep and a corgi named Jack and quickly set up shop.

Jack looks small and cute, but he's actually a trained working dog. He can expertly guide the sheep around, all while ducking kicks with his tiny size. Hathor supervises the flock and, if needed, uses a jolt of unsettling magic to get the sheep moving in the intended direction. Jack is far too small to fend off predators, so that job falls to his Gaoler mistress. She can usually handle them, but every now and then a massive bird swoops in and plucks one of her sheep before she can make a move.
