Night Warrior Project-Demigod
The Duty's of a Demigod
A Demigod will travel throughout their God's realm to keep the peace and ensure that the Clans are content with their lives. As every Demigod is blessed with immortality by their Deity, they may spend entire lifetimes ensuring the well-being of a single lair; others may come to be and then fall apart long before a Demigod wanders onto their domain.
Now the task of keeping the peace and ensuring well-being is one that is up to the discretion of the Demigod that is present. A Demigod might see it their duty to help keep the Clans fed or to provide them ample companionship by taming familiars. Some may find their Duty to be to find any and all poor wayward eggs without a Clan to call home or to keep the peace between rival Clans. And some Demigods may find that at times their only duty is to be a friend to dragons left alone, forgotten by their neighbors and allies, but still there.
The Forest is both the protector of all who live within, and a threat to the very same; as such, Nature is both a means of life, and a threat to all that oppose her order. The Green will not just stand by as Her way of life is threatened, but neither will She jump at threats that may well prove to be nonexistent.
Francis
Born under the Stormcatcher, Francis has always posessed more anger than any dragon should. This temper put him at odds with the overly organized manner of his home clan. Desipte this, he had always been very adimant in standing up for those that have stood up for him. This quality is what brought him to the StormCatcher's attention. Because of his lineage as one of the Night Warriors, he immediataly accepted his gods offer, and became a Demigod.
With his newfound power, Francis stood by his birth clan, took charge of the warriors as their Commander. He was content and happy with his place for many years. But then a new dragon happened upon the clan, Wadjet, and she made him realize everything that he had never noticed was missing in his life.
He fell in love with her, but soon Wadjet revealed that she was more than just an ordinary dragoness. The one that he loved was a God, lost from her home through a wormhole. They went to the StormCatcher together, to look for answers for Wadjet's coming to this world, a way home, and to obtain his blessing of their union.
The StormCatcher was shocked at their story, but told them that he did not have the explaination that they were looking for, nor did he know of a way for her to return home. He was wary of the power Wadjet held and refused to let her dwell within his territory out of caution. StormCatcher demanded the two separate, but that neither of the two would accept. Francis chose to give up the power he held as a Demigod instead, and was banished from Lightning Flight territory along with his lover.
The two traveled to meet the Gods, to see if one of them held the answers they sought, or eventually, if any would offer them a home. After a long time, they reached the home of the GladeKeeper, the Viridian Laberinth, and had an audiance with the Goddess. She was calm and heard them out, before eventually offering not the answers they hoped for, but a home in a very young clan. She asked for the two dragons to ally themselves to her and they accepted. Upon their departure for their new home, She bestowed the power of a Demigod upon Francis for the second time in his life.
Upon arival the lovers quickly earned the confidence of the dragons that lived there. Wadjet made herself again, becoming their protector Goddess, and Francis took charge of the clans warriors as their Commander-and-Chief. The mates now rule the clan together, eagerly awaiting the time their hatchlings could earn the honor of being Night Warriors.
