Korey, the first professor of the Eira Guild, is a much teased figure among the hatchlings. Although he is a wonderful, and surprisingly interesting, teacher, Korey is usually awkward and odd outside of the "classroom." He is fiercely territorial, as many of the guild has found out -- including Nerys, an event that left all four children of Ceridwen and Aeron somewhat less fond of Korey -- yet also a coward -- probably why he is so comfortable in his studious role, where everything is abstract and completely and utterly safe.
It was somewhat unexpected when Korey and Eurwen mated, as the two dragons are so different. But, at the same time, both balance the other out so perfectly: calm to reckless, cowardly to brave. They also make a formidable team: both are protective of the Eira Guild almost to a fault, and would do basically anything to protect their adopted family.
