Seranah

Seranah is a fierce, strong-willed dragon. When she was younger, however, she had
been very sweet and kind. She was always smiling and joking around with the other hatchlings. However, as she began to grow older, as she began to breed with different males, whispers would begin to float around her everywhere she went. Other dragons were jealous of her and how her kids adored her. She heard the harsh critiques spat behind her back and each one cut her like a knife. Because of this, her heart grew harder, a wall of iron surrounding it. She cut off everyone and isolated herself, only breeding with men when she felt like it. The only people who saw her smile after this were her beautiful hatclings.

Seranah is a loner. She prefers to spend her time alone. The only exception to her
preference is her familiar, Hoarfrost Mauler, that she quickly was able to befriend. She enjoys stroking their fur around the ice spikes that protrudes from their back in an attempt to soothe the pain. The two of them are very close and prefer to be alone rather than surrounded by the other dragons and familiars.

Seranah’s favorite pastimes are to train and fight in the collseum. For her, it’s the only
way to vent her frustrations. She hates the wasted time of reading a book or talking with friends. To her, there is not enough time in life to waste it on useless novelties. Besides, she can train, dig, scavenge, or transmute items. Why should she waste her time doing a useless “hobby” when she could be working to help her clan?

Many times, when Seranah is training, her Hoarfrost Mauler will help her. They will send
attacks at her to help her train her defense and dodge skills. In return, she will send her attacks at them to improve her skills for the colliseum,

All in all, Seranah is mainly a recluse. She does what she has to for her clan, but rather
enjoys her time alone. In fact, she much prefers to train with her familiar than chit-chat with any of the other dragons. Honestly, she is content with her clan, but she has no emotional attachment to any of them. She learned long ago that emotional ties were too easily broken. She will never make the same mistake again.

Mini-Story:
Water dripped down Seranah’s large snout, air being forced through her lungs in large
bursts. She growled and forced herself to move again as a spike of frozen water hurled toward her. Her hind legs shook as her weight was forced back on them again. She grunted, wings surging upward. She moved as yet another spike of ice was chucked at her so fast it nearly grazed her. She growled.

“Enough!” she roared. She moved forward, talons poised to attach. Red blinded her
and she slashed at the speck of white and blue that seemed to dance hauntingly before her. She grinned as her talons struck her target and quickly moved back. She sucked in greedy breaths of air, glaring at the familiar in front of her.

“I told you not to go so hard!” she growled. The Hoarfest Mauler she had been friended
rolled their eyes and turned toward her.

“Move faster,” they said in a clipped tone. Seranah growled.

“I’m done for today. I’m going to go gather some food. Go back to the clan.” She turned
and stalked off to the forest, intent on catching her clan’s next meal. She heard her friend’s lumbering steps fade away and hummed.

“I guess I still need training…” The forest shifted in reply, allowing her sights to land on a
large fawn. She grinned and licked her chops.

“Dinner is served…”
